Born in Bavaria in 1951.

From 1971 to 1975 he studied art and biology at the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe-University in Frankfurt / Main. Since 1976, he has worked mainly as an artist in general schools in Berlin.

Since 1997 member of the artist group "per arte"; various individual and group exhibitions in Berlin. Her artistic development went from figurative painting to surreal paintings, resulting from material blends. One focus of the work is on the contrasts, overlaps and color traces forming the rooms. The predominantly earthy, natural colors and materials are to remind us of the process of life.

In the past few years, Rosa-Therese Harter was also concerned with the construction of objects and their effects in nature.
