In addition to works by established artists, such as professors Wojciech Cieśniewski, Marian Czapla and Krzysztof Wachowiak, works by the younger generation including Rafał Kowalski, Maciej Hoffman and Tomasz Milanowski will also be presented. The major part of the painters involved are lecturers and graduates of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, under whose auspices the exhibition stands. Many of them have been awarded international prizes. Their works are collected all over Europe.

Marian Czapla is considered one of the most important contemporary Polish painters; he was a co-founder of the artist group Sympleks S4, who influenced the Polish art scene in the 1970s in addition to Krzysztof Wachowiak. Works by Zbigniew M. Dowgiałło, the leading representative of the Polish "Neue Wilden" of the 1980s are also shown. In addition to those already mentioned, the Warsaw artists Czesław Radzki, Andrzej Podkański, Andrzej Rysiński, Artur Winiarski and Beata Tomczyk-Sokołowska will also be involved.
The name of the exhibition is not a coincidence, as the selection of the twelve artists who have joined together for the project "Warschauer Kunstkraftwerke" represents the amazing power and expressiveness of Polish contemporary painting. In addition to a creative exploration of the past, the artists also refer to topics of the present, such as technology or climate warming.
